Working with juniors is a sensitive area of photography, particularly due to the amount of negative press over the past few years - many photographers now stay away from this field due to the risks associated.
To combat this, and still be able to offer parents and sports teams access to high-quality photography of their children and competitors, I follow a very clear process, which is defined below and is designed to give everyone the confidence and protection necessary.
RESPONSIBLE USE OF JUNIOR IMAGES
On the website you will find examples of my work, however you will not find any images of the junior events that have been covered. I take my responsibility around junior work seriously and will never release my images either online or in print to any customer without identification and authorisation.
- Initial conversation with all competing teams' managers prior to the event
- Issue of authorisation forms to team managers
- Return of authorisation forms by email, post, fax
- Validation of authorisation by email or phone call
- Issue of a contact sheet (A4 sheet containing many small proof images) to managers & parents
- Selection & ordering of any products by managers & parents
- Photos of juniors will NEVER appear on the website
- Photos of juniors will NEVER be sold without the pre-authorisation from the child's parents
- Images WILL be retained digitally for future re-production.

For parents' further peace of mind I am happy to have CRB checks completed against my name. This is something that has to be requested on a per event basis, and not something that I can maintain myself. If this is something that you would like to have please feel free to contact me, or the CRB directly using the link on the left hand side of the website |
